In 2023, we had zero workplace fatalities and 70% of manufacturing and warehouse locations achieved zero recordable injuries. Each facility is overseen by an EHS manager committed to helping increase communication and associate awareness and driving safety improvements.
We conduct internal Environmental Health and Safety Audits to ensure compliance with our Health and Safety management system. We built our audit process based on Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements and Zurn Elkay’s best management practices to focus on three main requirements: documentation and training, facility conditions and associate interviews. We audit every facility's safety performance at least once every three years. We audited 33% of our facilities in 2023.
