Measuring safety performance with Zurn-Elkay

Measuring Safety Performance in 2024

In 2024, we had zero workplace fatalities and reduced our total recordable incident rate (TRIR) and lost time incident rate (LTIR) compared to the previous year by 4% and 58% respectively. Each facility is overseen by an EHS manager committed to helping increase communication and associate awareness and driving safety improvements.

Enhancing Safety Performance: OSHA-Compliant EHS Audits in Action

We conduct internal Environmental Health and Safety Audits to ensure compliance with our Health and Safety management system. We built our audit process based on Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements and Zurn Elkay’s best management practices to focus on three main requirements: documentation and training, facility conditions and associate interviews. Our goal is to audit every facility at least once every three years.
