Our commitment to sustainability is fundamental to our business strategy and guides how we innovate and create resilient water solutions. Our product portfolio includes water safety and control products, storm water infrastructure and flow systems, low-flow sensor restroom fixtures and drinking water products that positively impact the environment and human hygiene. Investments in drinking water have led to the development of a combined lead and PFOA- and PFOS-reducing filter, providing cleaner safer drinking water for our customers. In our own facilities, we collect and review water use data to help us determine water use improvement opportunities. The Zurn Foundation seeks partnerships with organizations and school districts in areas where lead levels are high and resources are low.

Zurn Elkay is committed to reducing our operational energy use and increasing our use of electricity from renewable sources. In 2025, we sourced 20% of our electricity from renewable sources, demonstrating progress on reaching 25% by 2030. We track energy data and perform energy audits to identify efficiency opportunities. We have done several LED lighting and compressed air projects to reduce usage while increasing the purchase of Renewable Energy Credits (RECs). Our facility in Paso Robles, CA has an onsite solar array and we actively look for more opportunities to procure renewable energy.

Our business places us at the center of critical community issues related to water cleanliness, safety, conservation and infrastructure. We support legislation that safeguards safe drinking water. One of the key pillars of the Zurn Foundation is Basic Needs, which support organizations that improve quality of life by delivering essentials such as food, shelter, care and drinking water.

Zurn Elkay is committed to finding new ways to divert waste from landfills through our products and operations. We design solutions that reduce waste at the source. Our filtered bottle filling stations help prevent billions of single-use plastic bottles from entering landfills and waterways each year, while our energy-efficient hand dryers reduce paper towel waste. We also incorporate recycled content into many of our products advancing circular material use. Within our operations, we continue to expand recycling and material reuse efforts to divert waste from landfills. In 2024, we set a target of validating five facilities as Zero Waste to Landfill (ZWTL) by 2030, defined as a facility that diverts at least 90% of generated waste away from landfill through alternative methods such as recycling or reuse. Together, these efforts demonstrate how we pair product innovation with operational accountability to advance responsible production and consumption.

Zurn Elkay approaches climate resilience through the integration of climate risks and opportunities with our business strategy and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM). As a growth-oriented company, pure-play water business, we offer one of the industry's broadest ranges of engineered water solutions and sustainable plumbing products. Our pressure-reducing valves and low-flow restroom fixtures help reduce water usage to offset water scarcity and our energy-efficient hand dryers eliminate the need for paper towels. To achieve our climate goals Zurn Elkay has set a target to reduce our Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions intensity by 50% by 2030. To achieve our goal we are investigating energy reduction initiatives, such as LED lighting and compressed air, that we can implement at our facilities as well as renewable energy procurement opportunities including Renewable Energy Credits (RECs) and rooftop solar utilization at select facilities.

As a leader in innovation, one of our strategic goals is to help customers access and manage clean water, particularly in areas experiencing water scarcity and poor water quality. Through the Zurn foundation, product donations and volunteer hours we support efforts that aid in the protection, preservation and restoration of major rivers and their watersheds. Our bottle filling stations encourage the use of reusable water bottles rather than single-use plastic bottles that can end up in oceans and waterways.

Zurn Elkay is committed to conserving freshwater ecosystems and protecting biodiversity through both our products and operations. Our backflow preventers, grease interceptors and advanced filtration systems help prevent contaminants from entering rivers, lakes and groundwater, while our low-flow fixtures and water management technologies reduce stress on local watersheds. Within our operations, we advance responsible water stewardship, wastewater management and waste reduction practices that minimize environmental impact and help safeguard the ecosystems that depend on clean, resilient water systems.

Zurn Elkay's compliance and ethics codes and policies align with the U.N. Global Compact's Human Rights and Anti-Corruption Principles. Our Anti-Corruption Law Policy is integral to our compliance and ethics program. We require biennial anti-corruption training and have a strong due diligence process. We have specific requirements in place for our supply chain for responsible sourcing and outline our expectations in the Supplier Excellence Manual.
